PROF. FERNAND LABRIE VISITED IBCB

On Nov. 23-26, invited by Prof. Lin LI, executive director of Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (IBCB), Prof. Rernand LABRIE, director of the Centre hospital University Laval (CHUL) Research Centre, Laval University, Canada, visited IBCB. In the morning of Nov. 24th, Prof. Labrie gave a senimar entitled "From Intracrinology, Molecular Biology and Genomics to the Improved Treatment of Prostate and Breast Cancer" in IBCB. In the afternoon of Nov. 24, the delegation of IBCB headed by Prof. LI and the delegation of CHUL headed by Prof. LABRIE hold a formal meeting in Shanghai to discuss the future collaboration on the functional analysis of hormone regulated genes in human prostate, uterine and breast cancers. Both sides expressed common interests on this collaborative project.
