The 17th FAOBMB Symposium/2nd IUBMB Special Meeting /7th A-IMBN Conference on "Genomics and Health in the 21st century" was held in Bangkok, Thailand, on Nov. 22-26, 2004.
The Thailand Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Fajanagarindra made her address at the opening Ceremony. The president of FAOBMB, Prof. Qishui Lin, Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, SIBS, CAS, the president of IUBNB and Asia-Pacific IMBN, made their short speeches at the opening Ceremony. Professor of IBCB Yuan Wang, Jinqiu Zhou, Enduo Wang, Xueliang Zhu, Jiang Yechen and Ph.D. student Fang Cao, made their oral and poster presentations during the meeting. The vice president of A-IMBN, Professor Zuxun Gong and the deputy director of IBCB, Prof. Kangcheng Ruan, attended the joint meeting.
