A delegation from Spanish Ministry of Education and Science visits SIBS

A 6-member delegation, led by Prof. Jose M. F. Labastida and Prof. Rafael Rodrigo, vice presidents of Ministry of Education and Science of Spain paid a one-day visit to Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (SIBS), CAS on December 3. The Spanish delegation was welcomed by Prof. Kan Liao, president assistant of SIBS, and Prof. JinQiu Zhou, president special assistant of SIBS. The host gave a brief introduction on SIBS as well as Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (IBCB). Later, the guests made a lab tour to IBCB and visited Institute of Neuroscience and Institute of Materia Medica. Both parties exchanged comments on common interests and discussed potential for establishing a link between two sides.
