Shanghai key Laboratory of Molecular Andrology held committee conference

The 2^nd committee conference of the 1^st term of Shanghai key Laboratory of Molecular Andrology (SLMA) was held on May 14^st at IBCB. Many scientific experts from well-known universities and institutions attended this meeting.

 

At the conference, the head of the laboratory, Prof. Yonglian Zhang reported the annual work of SLMA in 2008 and delivered the future plan and goal for the coming years. All the academic groups of the laboratory gave presentations on their research aspects and were evaluated by the present experts.

 

The experts discussed about the potential development of SLMA, expressing the hope that more talents should be brought in the SLMA to strengthen the research team building and raise the national and international competitiveness. They also suggested that collaborative tie should be enhanced between SLMA and the clinical hospitals.
