Visit to Kunming Institute of Botany

A delegation of 6 members from IBCB paid a two-day visit to Kunming Institute of Botany (KIB), Chinese Academy of Sciences on August 10th.

 

During the visit, the IBCB delegation members introduced the research capability, facilities and achievements of IBCB. The head of KIB and about 30 PIs also briefly presented their research work. At the meeting, the scientists discussed and exchanged ideas on topics as further cooperation in research programs.

 

The visit has helped in understanding the present state of research and development taking place in the two national renowned institutions, which enhanced the communication and effectively promoted scientific exchanges. The IBCB and KIB are now starting a long-term cooperation within research groups.

 

The KIB also planed a return visit to IBCB later in this year.
