The visit from University of Toronto

On November 2nd and 3rd, Dr. Brenda Jean Andrews, the director of the Terrence Donnelly Center for Cellular and Biomolecular Research from University of Toronto, headed a delegation to visit Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (IBCB).
During the visit, scientists from University of Toronto and IBCB held a joint symposium on protein and stem cells, and later exchanged views on further developing bilateral ties between the two research institutions. Dr. Brenda Jean Andrews and her colleagues also visited the laboratories of IBCB and held talks with individual PIs. A consensus was reached to enhance the friendship and understanding between the two sides and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in research, Dr. Naihe Jing, the deputy director of IBCB, said.
The two sides have maintained exchange of academic visits each year since 2007.
