SIBCB and Xuhui District Central Hospital Launched a Joint Cancer Research Center

On August 30th, 2010, Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (SIBCB), Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (SIBS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Xuhui District Central Hospital (XDCH) jointly held the signing and opening ceremony for a new joint Cancer Research Center. The ceremony was hosted by XDCH party secretary LU Yimin, and among the participants are Xuhui District deputy chief BAO Bingzhang, SIBS vice president ZHANG Xu, SIBCB director LIN Anning, SIBCB director assistant CHEN Zhengjun, SIBCB Department of Scientific Management director JIANG Ge, Xuhui District CPPCC deputy chairman & XDCH director ZHU Jianmin, Science and Technology Committee of Shanghai Municipal Government Division of Biomedicine director ZHU Qigao, Health Bureau of Shanghai Municipal Division of Research and Education director ZHANG Kan, Science and Technology Committee of Xuhui District deputy director LI Kan, Health Bureau of Xuhui Ditrict party secretary ZHAO Wen, Health Bureau of Xuhui Ditrict director LIU Shiqiang. Both ZHU Jianmin and LIN Anning gave brief speeches to celebrate the launch of the joint Cancer Research Center, and signed “the Agreement Concerning the SIBCB-XDCH Joint Cancer Research Center”. The Center was officially opened by BAO Bingzhang and LIN Anning. ZHANG Kan, ZHANG Xu, and BAO Bingzhang gave speeches on the ceremony.
