Associate Professor Position in Prof. PEI Gang’s Group at SIBCB

Applications are invited for the Associate Professor position on the area of GPCR signaling and its role in autoimmune diseases in Prof. PEI Gang’s group (http://www.sibcb.ac.cn/PI.asp?id=51 and http://www.sibcb.ac.cn/ePI.asp?id=51) at Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (SIBCB), SIBS, CAS. SIBCB (http://www.sibcb.ac.cn) is a flagship institute of biological sciences in China, conducting pioneering basic research in biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology.
 
Research in Prof. Pei’s group focuses on GPCR signaling, how it is regulated by epigenetic mechanisms, and its role in the pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of diseases such as Alzheimer’s diseases, diabetes, and autoimmune disorders. The group is seeking a highly motivated, experienced researcher with a Ph.D. and a proven track record in molecule biology, immunology or development biology. Postdoctoral experience in related areas is essential. Previous experience in overseas research institutions is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are very important as the candidate is expected to work closely and interactively with colleagues from different disciplines.
 
The position is available immediately. Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
