We seek highly motivated individuals for two postdoctoral fellow positions in the Laboratory of Chromatin and Cell Aging at Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
We study the role of telomere and telomerase in genome stability and cellular aging. Currently, we are particularly interested in understanding the molecular mechanism of chromatin structure and function and cellular aging. More information in our lab pages:
For Postdoctoral positions, a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry/chemistry, molecular biology, or genetics is required. A research background in the following fields: including histone modification, epigenetics, structural biology and animal model (eg. Caenorhabditis elegans) will be a plus. Highly competitive salary/benefits will be provided for individuals who are highly motivated and capable of conducting research independently.
